Prosopagnosia

Prosopagnosia is a personal story of identity, communication and memory that uses expressive animation to convey intimacy and emotion. Prosopagnosia means face-blindness (not being able to recognise faces). As a way of understanding this neurodiverse behaviour, the contents of a memory box are explored. Old sketchbooks, diaries, photographs, Polaroid’s and audio diaries are intricately unravelled. Here we begin to understand the importance of faces, the coping mechanisms that can be exercised and the different ways you can live your life when you cannot recognise a face.
