In the kickoff to this new series, we take a look at the structure of the Bible; 66 books of the Bible which have been divided into the Old and New Testaments with the dividing line being Jesus. We then go into a study of Creation specifically looking at how God created all things. In this study is a brief look at the first law of thermodynamics. For Christians who feel as if the Bible and science aren't compatible, it's interesting to examine this law. In examining it, one is compelled to one of three conclusions: 1) All matter and energy existed eternally and at some point went from chaos to order 2) All matter and energy were created by God and He spoke things into order or 3) All matter and energy were created by nothing. Stated differently it looks like this: 1) I can't explain it, but I believe that God is eternal and then He spoke matter and energy into existence and created the laws by which the universe operates or 2) I can't explain it, but I believe that all matter and energy are eternal. At some point, this energy created order out of chaos. 3) I can't explain it, but at some point, nothing became something and that something somehow came into order. It's an interesting study that we're certain you will enjoy.
