This is the "Somebody Stole My Cow" video... in the magic of full color! Well, they don't get much sillier than this. But while "Somebody Stole My Cow!" offers lots of silly fun (kazoos and all), there is also a great opportunity here to have a lesson on the music of the 1920s. This song, of course, is a parody of Leo Wood's hit, "Somebody Stole My Gal." It was a very popular song throughout the '20s and beyond, and it was recorded by the likes of Ted Weems, Cab Calloway, Benny Goodman, Bix Beiderbecke, Fats Waller, Count Basie, and more.
