Fishermen still make a living at Michigan’s historic Fishtown

submitted by Bumuti Social on 06/06/24 1

Fishtown in Leland, Michigan isn't just a throwback to the past, it's still where fishermen make a living. Commercial fishing, charters and Carlson's Fishery, a fish shop that has been in operation since 1904, all call Fishtown home. Clustered around the fishing hub of Fishtown, you'll find artists, gift shop and some of the best sandwiches in northern Michigan at Village Cheese Shanty.
