This is a story of an indentured servant name Molly Walsh, who came to the American colonies from England, and Bannaky, a kidnapped man from Africa. Their love forged a new path in the American colonies and created one of the greatest Scientific minds of the time, that of Benjamin Banneker. This is a great story to read during Black History Month, during Martin Luther King's birthday, during Abraham Lincoln's birthday, during lessons on colonial times to teach children what it was like.
