A Victim of Domestic Violence

A young teenage mother was assaulted by the father of her children during an event of domestic violence. She was choked during the 30 minute assault and lost consciousness for an unknown period of time. Her head was struck against the sharp edge of furniture and she sustained a deep 3 cm forehead laceration. I apologize for having to turn off the comments, but even though most comments were constructive, a trend of judgmental comments were started and I felt that it was not appropriate to allow the opportunity for these comments to continue.
