Saori Jo’s sound is firmly in the Floydian branch of the progressive rock genre. As such, she is one of the very few women leading a Prog Rock project, in a genre traditionally very male dominated. Her music, graced with celtic, blues and folk undertones, takes the hand of the listener through songs (shall we say journeys…) structured almost as classical pieces, in which her piano takes command and Miguel Ruiz’ guitar rockets skywards as powerfully as in the biggest anthems of Rock music. In short, the originality of their sound and influences blends wonderfully with the traditions of Prog Rock. The new track "I´m willing" is her first release via the label 7 music.
