Kemar is the Managing Director of K & K Kitchen & General Cleaning Services. In 2009, Kemar founded The Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society, a charity that seeks to ensure a daily meal, counselling and family reintegration programs of inner city dwellers. His work has gained him awards and recognition in Barbados and abroad in the field of Social Entrepreneurship. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
