I personally like mixing in Maschine and using the the tools they give right out of the box. I think they are amazing and sound great. Mastering in Maschine can be a breeze as well. It is about understanding what you are doing with the tools provided. Such as EQ, Compressor, Limiter, Saturation, Reverb, Delays, Etc. I've realized some of the best producers understand the gear that they are working with or have an engineer on hand that can assist them in their software. Native instruments has improved their software over there years which allows mixing to be very intuitive. Being able to add 3 party plugins takes it to a whole new level.
