This short film was the winning entry in the Media Partnership Challenge that was launched by Jon Snow at the Global Student Forum 2009. The subject of GSF2009 was child mortality, and Jon Snow challenged the students to create a concept and a storyboard for a short film about the reasons why 9 million children across the world die from preventable causes before their fifth birthday. Out of all the entries, the students from Kesteven & Grantham Girls' School won, and they were supported by a team of film professionals from Damaris.tv to turn their concept into reality - which you see here.
