This is a dope sampling session I did with Maschine, where I sampled different sources for every sound in my beat. It's not supposed to be a detailed tutorial but you can learn a lot from it or use it as an inspiration. I started with a chord loop from my own work-in-progress sample pack and chopped it up. Then I recorded a kick and a hi-hat that I had on my SP-404. I also used my Audio Technica AT2020 mic to record a cabassa, a tambourine, and a note from my kalimba. I also recorded a bass sound from my Microkorg XL and a synth pad/lead from the Animoog app on the iPhone.
