Mac & Katie Kissoon were the Donny & Marie of 1971. A brother and sister act from England, they flew up the US charts with this song while laying an egg in their own country. Compared to most artists, their careers went in an opposite direction as they went from fronting their own vocals to backing others. It seems they overcame their abandonment issues as they are still going strong nearly forty years on.
