What occupies the mind of a leader? This week we look at what it looks like to renew our minds in order to lead like Jesus. - - - 📖 ABOUT THE SERIES: You are called by God to lead. Whether that is at home or in your workplace. At church or on the block. So if we're going to lead, let's walk in the footprints of the best leader to ever walk the earth. Let's learn how to Lead Like Jesus. - - - ✏️ MESSAGE NOTES: TO LEAD LIKE JESUS WE MUST… 1: BE SERVANT LEADERS Do nothing out of selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves. Everyone should look not to his own interests, but rather to the interests of others. {Philippians 2:3-4} Jesus knew that the Father had given everything into his hands, that he had come from God, and that he was going back to God. So he got up from supper, laid aside his outer clothing, took a towel, and tied it around himself. Next, he poured water into a basin and began to wash his disciples’ feet and to dry them with the towel tied around him. {John 13:3-5} 2: PUT GOD IN FIRST PLACE But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you. {Matthew 6:33} But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed. {Luke 5:16} 3: EXTEND FORGIVENESS AND GRACE Therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a grievance against another.
