Today Dr. Fisher talks about how to address new patients who might have heard something negative about chiropractic and helping them to get over the fear or false information which might prevent them from getting the care they need. Dr. Fisher suggests to not take any of the negative comments about chiropractic personally as they probably have nothing to do with you or your practice. Remember the goal is to help your patients so make it your purpose to educate them past the Black PR.... so you can reach a level playing field where they will listen to you and grow to trust you. During your new patient first visit it is critical to handle any of these concerns before you go any further as some people might be hung up on their fears and unwilling to listen or try treatments that they will need. During your consultation your first question to a new patient should be...."So what have you heard about chiropractic good or bad or have you ever been to a chiropractor or what do you know about chiropractic" any of these questions can break the ice or get the ball rolling towards helping them!
