Full watermelon growing stages were demonstrated in this time lapse of growing sugar baby watermelon from seed to harvested fruits over 110 days. Sugar baby watermelon seed was germinated and planted in a 12-inch container with potting mix. During the 1st week, it sprouted nicely and started to develop into mature plant at about 7-8 weeks. Around 67th day, hand-pollination was carried pollen out from male flowers onto two female flowers. After that, it took about 6 more week for the fruit bearing and growing to about 2-3 pounds. Watermelon flesh is super sweet, crisp, and tastes marvelous right off the bat. #watermelon #fruit #timelapse
