The People In A Real Estate Syndication
In any real estate syndication, there are two main groups of people: the general partners (GPs) and the limited partners (LPs). The GPs are the sponsors of the deal, who are actively meeting with brokers, looking at properties, and underwriting deals. The LPs (which would be you, if you were to invest) are the passive investors. The LPs invest their money into the deal in return for a split of the profits.
