Karabakh-occupied territories regained by Azerbaijan on 27 September 2020. Qarabağ is a disputed territory but internationally recognized as an integral part of Azerbaijan. Cultural Heart of Azerbaijan Fantastic Nature and Important Sites On 27 September 2020, a new war erupted in Karabakh. Consequently. Azerbaijan regained most of the occupied territories and large parts of the region. On 8 November 2020, following a three-day-long battle, Azerbaijani forces recaptured the culturally significant city of Shusha. Although we can see a lot of destruction from past conflicts, we can notice the fast improvement and interest in making this region prosperous and ready to receive people. For 30 years, this region has not been developed, but nowadays, after the 2020 retake of the territory by Azerbaijan, a full-scale rebuilding of infrastructure is the first and top priority for the Government in Baku. roads schools airports hotels museums monuments supermarkets mosques churches, etc. The future of Şuşa and Qarabağ looks promising after many years of war and fighting.
