What happens when this life is over? What of sickness and death? We were never designed for the here and now because heaven is our home. Paul help us understand what's next. --- 📖 ABOUT THE SERIES: From a prison cell Paul writes a letter to the church in Philippi. Join us for a walkthrough of his letter and learn how we can be content in all circumstances. --- ✏️ MESSAGE NOTES: Our citizenship is in heaven, and we eagerly wait for a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of his glorious body, by the power that enables him to subject everything to himself. {Philippians 3:20-21} 1: OUR HOME IS HEAVEN What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? {Mark 8:36 NIV} 2: WE AWAIT THE RETURNING KING Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the peoples of the earth will mourn; and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. {Matthew 24:30} 3: WE WILL EXPERIENCE TRANSFORMATION 4: JESUS IS ALL POWERFUL For everything was created by him, in heaven and on earth, the visible and the invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and by him all things hold together. {Colossians 1:16-17} --- ✝️ ABOUT SWERVE: Swerve Church is a new church in the neighborhood of Bushwick in Brooklyn NYC.
