One of the best defensive minds in football is Kirby Smart. Long time defensive coordinator at Alabama and now the head coach at Georgia, his defenses have been a model for consistency and championships. While Kirby is not the LB coach at UGA, Glenn Schumann is, there is no doubt he has his hand in every aspect of the defense. The Linebackers in Nick Sabans defense, which includes all of the coaches in his coaching tree play a tremendously important role and have to be very athletics and intelligent to be successful in their scheme.
