In this video, I suggest that you should be very wary of college essay writing services. Most students do not know this, but essays written by college essay writing services are generally quite easy to spot. Plagiarism is generally quite easy to identify. Why are college essay writing services easy to spot?: 1. They often do not talk about topics discussed in class. 2. They can use very elaborate language that is beyond the ability of most students. 3. They generally don’t give a lot of sharp original ideas that can earn you an A. If they did, most professors would use them as well. Or, we would hire the people at the writing services to be part of our labs. 4. College essay services can be like taking illicit drugs. They can be ‘cut’ with something else. Obviously, they may have their own bank of essays that they reuse. This is silly. 5. By the time you tell them what you want, you already have learnt the material and spent as much time as you would have if you actually done the college essay. 6. Using college essay writing services can ruin your career if they are not allowed. Always check with your professors what resources are allowed in your classroom. 7. Professors do not care about the ‘essay’ that you wrote. We care about the academic skills that we are teaching you. Reading another essay does not benefit us. What we care about is whether you are doing well and building character. 8. Our demands have not increased. We are not any harder on you than in previous decades. In fact, it is likely the opposite.
