Deuteronomy is known as the book of remembrance. It contains the last sermons of Moses and what he wanted Israel to remember after he was gone. Of the five books of Moses, Deuteronomy is the most quoted by Old Testament prophets. It is quoted or alluded to almost one hundred times in the New Testament.
