"Olof in Brazil" is a series of 14 episodes where we will take you on a journey through the 12 cities that are going to host the FIFA World Cup 2014. The cities are Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Belo Horizonte, Brasília, Curitiba, Porto-Alegre, Recife, Fortaleza, Natal, Salvador, Cuiabá and Manaus. Two exceptional episodes will be dedicated to the remarkable Amazon Rainforest, and the lesser known Pantanal wetlands. The series is recorded in 1080p HD and each episode has a length of 28 minutes. In every episode we will meet bold and fascinating Brazilian personalities; musicians, writers, philosophers, artists, common people and uncommon, famous and infamous. Together with these people we will discover many aspects of Brazilian culture through dance, food, music and sport. We'll experience Brazil through Olof's perspective as a young "gringo" in this gigantic, heavily spiced melting pot that is Brazil, the fifth biggest country in the world. Curiosity is what led Olof to start exploring the world in the nineties. A romance brought him to legendary Rio de Janeiro, and his love for the girl, the music and the culture made him stay. He has dedicated over a decade to TV and film in Brazil where he has worked as a film teacher in the slum City of God, produced documentaries, worked as DoP on both shorts and full length movies as well as directed and produced TV-programs.
