At nearly 10,000 sq ft in size and visible from 35,000 ft, the world’s largest welcome sign has been rolled out to celebrate the launch of the new shorter, sharper .uk domain name. The sign is the equivalent of four tennis courts at Wimbledon and the length of more than five double-decker buses. Reading 'welcometothe.uk', it heralds a brand new era for the UK internet.
