From his unique vantage point as the Executive Producer of The Muny in St. Louis and a Broadway Producer, Mike Isaacson shares why he feels musicals are a powerful medium that have inspired and brought people together for decades, especially in America's oldest and largest outdoor musical theatre. TEDxStLouis was held at MX Movies in downtown St. Louis, Missouri on 9.19.13. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
