Step 1: Install and run #VMware #Workstation on your Windows 10 computer. Step 2: Click Create a New Virtual Machine on the main screen of the VMware program. Step 3: Select Custom to edit advanced settings in the virtual machine wizard. Step 4: Select the latest version of the Workstation program in hardware compatibility. Step 5: Select I will install the operating system later to add the Ubuntu ISO file to the virtual machine later. Step 6: After marking the Linux platform for the guest operating system, select Ubuntu 64 bit from the Version section. Step 7: Type a name for the virtual machine and configure the installation location. Step 8: Configure the processor setting for 1 processor and 8 cores.
