Subramanian, chief economic advisor to the Government of India, a leading expert on economic policy, banking and corporate governance, joined in a discussion of India’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic within the context of a global recovery with Arvind Panagariya, professor of economics and the Jagdish Bhagwati Professor of Indian Political Economy, and Jan Svejnar, Richard N. Gardner Professor of Economics and International Affairs. The event was co-sponsored by SIPA’s MPA in Economic Policy Management, the Deepak and Neera Raj Center on Indian Economic Policies and the Center on Global Economic Governance.
