Tom Leighton, the CEO and Co-Founder of Akamai said they saw a year’s worth of growth overnight on the Akamai platform as Covid-19 upended the global economy. Leighton said the company was able to handle the huge increase in internet traffic because of their architecture and that the remote work force is here to stay. He spoke with Andy Browne, editorial director of Bloomberg New Economy during an episode of the Conversations series, ‘On the Front Lines’.
