Delivering on the Urgent Need For Frontline Healthcare Workers | DAVOS 2020

submitted by Marvin's Underground Evening Lectures on 12/06/21 1

By 2030, the world will need an additional 18 million health workers to meet the needs of communities worldwide. Without the support of Frontline health workers, especially nurses and midwives and community health workers, the improvements that have been made in child and maternal survival and in curbing global disease challenges and more will be lost. At the press conference, WHO and Johnson & Johnson will announce their shared objective of meeting that goal by 2030. Speakers: Paul Stoffels, David Miliband, Katie Clift The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. We believe that progress happens by bringing together people from all walks of life who have the drive and the influence to make positive change.
