submitted by Marvin's Underground Evening Lectures on 12/06/21 1

Close to 1.6 billion of the most vulnerable economy workers in global labor markets have lost their capacity to earn a decent living in the context of the pandemic, while the inadequacies of safety nets for the majority of the world’s working population have been revealed. This Leadership Panel examines what responses are most effective and what are the emerging features of a new social contract between governments, business and citizens. Speakers: Hilary Cottam, James Quincey, Pedro Sánchez, Sharan Burrow, Paul Kagame, Jo Ann Jenkins, Saadia Zahidi The World Economic Forum is the International Organization for Public-Private Cooperation. The Forum engages the foremost political, business, cultural and other leaders of society to shape global, regional and industry agendas. We believe that progress happens by bringing together people from all walks of life who have the drive and the influence to make positive change.
