Here's A Video About Making Videos - 8th Grade Project8th graders at my middle school complete a video project (currently using WeVideo). I figured the best way to introduce a video assignment was with a video. Plus, now students have all kinds of ideas for types of video that they can shoot (speed up, slow down, green screen, screencast, confessional-style to camera, Snapchat filters, slides and titles, etc...)
Yes, I know this video is totally cheesy. That was the whole point. Including ridiculous use of middle-school slang. My inspiration was to re-create the style of a Spike TV show, like InkMaster... hence the overdone "rocker" guitar.
