Boeing Archive Presents: Winds of ChangeToday the wind tunnel is a critical part of aerospace testing and development. But in the early 1900s there were less than a dozen wind tunnels in the world. In 1918 Bill Boeing made a strategic investment with the University of Washington; building a wind tunnel and aerodynamics testing facility that – to this day – has been used for testing numerous aircraft and educating generations of engineers.

I had never seen or heard anything like this before. An incredible musician playing his guitar on the corner of Adelaide and Albert Street, Brisbane. YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3XML3FpJ_B0

When I first saw Johnnie Lin in Brisbane I was very surprised he didn't have any videos of him playing on YouTube. He was very grateful when I offered to film him in hopes of bringing him some recognition for his talent. So here is the video I filmed of him on the 7th of September 2012 hope you all enjoy!
Fifty People One Question (Kraków,Poland)English:
Fifty people we accidentally came across on the street differ in age, social status, interests, but they have something in common-they live in one city and we asked them the same question. We are preparing an extraordinary film not only about an interesting place ,but also about people: each of them responds in their own way, so even though the question was the same , the answers are surprisingly different. To what extent does the perception of the world depend on our characters, our life situation or finally the place we live in?

The film will present the small part of Cracovian community, what allows you to take a look at this city in the context of its inhabitants and visitors. Fifty People One Question is an ongoing social experiment exploring human connections through people and place. The project began in New Orleans in 2008 and has since traveled across the globe, touching millions of viewers. We invite you to watch Polish edition 50people 1question
Polski:

Film będzie pokazywał zatem mały wycinek krakowskiej społeczności, pozwoli na zauważenie Miasta w kontekście tworzących go Ludzi. Zapraszmy do oglądania polskiej edycji 50people1question!
Humans are part of the natural order. We're risen apes that acquired language and learned to use tools. Skyscrapers and spacecraft may seem unnatural, but they're just as much a part of the natural order as beaver dams and bird nests. Boring electrical lines hint at the energy solution of a mammalian species. Open your eyes to the world you've grown accustomed to, and rejoice in the fact that you participate in the human project. - @ReidGower - http://www.twitter.com/reidgower
The City Limits---------------------------
About the Project
---------------------------

As of today, it is estimated that there are more than 7 billion humans living on Earth.

Humans have only been a glimpse in the Earth’s timeline, yet in the last 200 years the evolution of mankind has skyrocketed as well as the need for Earth’s resources.

Skyscrapers are growing taller than the next, like huge trees battling for sunlight. At night, from a higher point of view, traffic evokes lava flowing down a volcano.

Like a giant ant colony, humans have made this planet their own. But what about the Earth? Can we continue to take without consequences?

The City Limits tries to show that even though humans are the dominant species on the planet, there is something bigger than us.

In Carl Sagan’s own words “Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. It is up to us.”

Human progress and technology are developing at exponential rates but at what cost?

Where is the city’s limit?
luckyFor Sam Elias, ice climbing is a gateway into deep reflection, and each ascent provides him with a clearer understanding of who he is and his place in the natural world. Yet, Sam's consummation with pushing himself, and the sport, to new extremes also magnifies his struggle to find a deeper purpose in his pursuits. After a day of climbing, Samwas able to speak his thoughts about the ever looming question: why am I so lucky?
