luckyFor Sam Elias, ice climbing is a gateway into deep reflection, and each ascent provides him with a clearer understanding of who he is and his place in the natural world. Yet, Sam's consummation with pushing himself, and the sport, to new extremes also magnifies his struggle to find a deeper purpose in his pursuits. After a day of climbing, Samwas able to speak his thoughts about the ever looming question: why am I so lucky?<br />
