Claire Marsh Returns - Spinal Cord Injury PatientIn 2010 Claire Marsh of Australia returned to China for a second round of adult stem cell transplants to improve her condition following a boating accident. The accident left her with an incomplete spinal cord injury. <br />

David Returns to China for TreatmentDavid Aldrich fell off a boat into shallow water. He suffered a spinal cord injury in the fall. Then he floated face-down in the water unable to breathe. Through his recovery David would eventually "die" eight times. He lost his vision as well.<br />
<br />
Death couldn't hold him. David kept coming back. In 2006 David reversed a DNR order while suffering from appendicitis when he learned his family had arranged for him to travel to China for adult stem cell therapy.<br />

During David's first cycle of transplants he made significant improvement including black/white restoration to his vision. After the treatment he pushed his physical therapy regimen hard and saw continued improvements in his condition.<br />

In 2008 he traveled to Qingdao China for his second cycle of adult stem cells. This interview was shot near the end of his second round of treatment.

Claire came to China in 2008 to receive spinal injections of umbilical cord blood stem cells for the treatment of a spinal cord injury she sustained in a boating accident. <br />
<br />
When Claire arrived in China she had plateaued in her physically therapy back home in Australia and was looking for a new therapy to help her continue onward. With no movement in her legs, no sweat function and very little sensation she began receiving injections of umbilical cord blood stem cells. <br />
<br />
After a full round of injections Claire had begun to walk without her crutches and had begun to move one of her toes. Months after the therapy she regained sweat function below her injury site. <br />
<br />
