1946 Official Trailer 122022 16x9 1080p1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture is a feature documentary that follows the story of tireless researchers who trace the origins of the anti-gay movement among Christians to a grave mistranslation of the Bible in 1946. It chronicles the discovery of never-before-seen archives at Yale University which unveil astonishing new revelations, and casts significant doubt on any biblical basis for LGBTQIA+ prejudice. Featuring commentary from prominent scholars as well as opposing pastors, including the personal stories of the film’s creators, 1946 is at once challenging, enlightening, and inspiring.
While other documentaries have been successful in their attempt to treat the symptom of homophobia in the church, 1946 is working to diagnose and treat the disease - Biblical Literalism.

Synopsis:
“Wonderfully Made” explores the challenges and aspirations of LGBTQ+ Catholics in the face of the Church’s formal rejection of their identities. The film criticizes Church teaching about LGBTQ+ people, yet it remains respectful of those of faith. It is the only documentary to include interviews with virtually all the current, leading advocates of LGBTQ+ Catholics, including several clergy, directors of prominent organizations seeking change, and a former U.S. Ambassador to the Vatican.
The film also features behind-the-scenes footage of creation of unprecedented, photographic iconography depicting Jesus as a member/ally of the LGBTQ+ community. Jesus is portrayed by multiple LGBTQ+ models of diverse ethnicities, genders, races, sexualities, and identities. The reactions of the film’s interviewees were filmed as they saw the images for the first time. The images are revealed at the end of the film and will be made publicly available.
Mama Bears Documentary TrailerThe Mama Bears documentary tells the story of two moms who came to the Mama Bear community from a conservative Christian background believing it was a sin to be LGBTQ+ and, with the help of the Mama Bear community, became fully affirming passionate LGBTQ+ advocates. The documentary also includes the story of a lesbian who does not have an affirming mom and how discovering the Mama Bear community leads her to connections and resources that help her accept herself.
God Loves Uganda (Official Trailer)In theaters October 11, 2013.
With God Loves Uganda, Academy Award-winning filmmaker Roger Ross Williams (Music by Prudence) explores the role of the American Evangelical movement in fueling Uganda's terrifying turn towards biblical law and the proposed death penalty for homosexuality. Thanks to charismatic religious leaders and a well-financed campaign, these draconian new laws and the politicians that peddle them are winning over the Ugandan public. But these dangerous policies and the money that fuels them aren't coming from Africa; they're being imported from some of America's largest megachurches.
Using vérité, interviews, and hidden camera footage, the film allows American religious leaders and their young missionaries that make up the "front lines in a battle for billions of souls" to explain their positions in their own words. Shocking and enlightening, touching and horrifying, God Loves Uganda will leave you questioning just how closely this brand of Christianity resembles the one you think you know.
