This clip is edited and accompanied by medleys, the first of which is from King Kong, and the second from the 'Forces of Nature'. It's nothing too fancy but please leave your comment on this historical event. This version of Exodus was broadcast by ABC as a miniseries. It was a wonderful depiction showing God's 'wonders' in setting at liberty his chosen people. Please rate and leave a comment, and where you're from. Thanks!

How languages evolve - Alex GendlerView full lesson: http://ed.ted.com/lessons/how-languages-evolve-alex-gendler
Over the course of human history, thousands of languages have developed from what was once a much smaller number. How did we end up with so many? And how do we keep track of them all? Alex Gendler explains how linguists group languages into language families, demonstrating how these linguistic trees give us crucial insights into the past.

Humans are part of the natural order. We're risen apes that acquired language and learned to use tools. Skyscrapers and spacecraft may seem unnatural, but they're just as much a part of the natural order as beaver dams and bird nests. Boring electrical lines hint at the energy solution of a mammalian species. Open your eyes to the world you've grown accustomed to, and rejoice in the fact that you participate in the human project. - @ReidGower - http://www.twitter.com/reidgower
luckyFor Sam Elias, ice climbing is a gateway into deep reflection, and each ascent provides him with a clearer understanding of who he is and his place in the natural world. Yet, Sam's consummation with pushing himself, and the sport, to new extremes also magnifies his struggle to find a deeper purpose in his pursuits. After a day of climbing, Samwas able to speak his thoughts about the ever looming question: why am I so lucky?
Parting the waters, Part 2: Carl Drews on wind setdown researchNCAR researcher Carl Drews discusses the results of a computer modeling study that shows how a sustained wind can temporarily lower water levels (see http://www2.ucar.edu/news/parting-waters-computer-modeling-applies-physics-red-sea-escape-route ).
The research he describes arose out of his master's thesis in atmospheric and oceanic sciences. The research is published in the online journal, PLoS ONE and is part of Drews's larger research project with oceanographer Weiqing Han (University of Colorado) into the impacts of winds on water depths, including the extent to which Pacific Ocean typhoons can drive storm surges. By pinpointing a possible site south of the Mediterranean Sea for a potential Red Sea crossing, the study also could be of benefit to experts seeking to research whether such an event ever took place. (Visualization by Tim Scheitlin and Ryan McVeigh, NCAR; based on model simulations.)
An animation based on this computer modeling research is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZqIZqDh1ns

My Quest For Peace Of Mind - Part 1: Growing UpThis is part 1 of the series of videos I am making for Ryan Rado. For this first one, I felt like keeping it as simple as possible. I, originally, wanted b-roll, interviews and stuff like that. Since Ryan's family is in Michigan and this is about him growing up, it was kinda hard to interview anyone else for this 1st video. So I figured, screw it, I want people to see Ryan the way everyone growing up saw him. I also don't ever want it to come into question that there is any BS in this whole situation. So, enjoy. This is Ryan Rado, a camera & part 1 of his story.
