'Two Down' Highlight Reel (Visual Effects, Compositing & Title Design)As my final independent project at university, I created all of the visual effects, title elements and digital composites for the feature film 'Two Down', working for the production company Fizz and Ginger Films. This video shows some of the work I produced during this project. There are 46 VFX composites in the final film. I was credited as Visual Effects and Titles Designer.<br />

Morphed! Graduate Show Promo (Motion Graphics Design)An assignment undertaken on the third year of my university course. The brief was to create an identity and theme for our end of year show, and then produce publicity materials (including a video) to promote it. The theme my group chose was Morphed! - a super-hero inspired identity that plays on the metaphor of us developing design 'super powers' during our time on the course and then aspiring to be the next generation of 'design heroes' as we enter our professional careers.<br />

'The Emotional Journey of Cinema' (DCM Ident - D&AD New Blood Awards entry 2014)My response to the DCM brief from the D&AD New Blood Awards 2014. The brief specified the challenge of creating an ident to showcase the emotive power of cinema as a medium. My concept was to show the reactions of a cinema audience as they are immersed in the film world, after taking their seats in the cinema. Each audience member was filmed separately against a green screen and composited together using Adobe After Effects. See Making 'The Emotional Journey of Cinema' for an overview of how the technical aspects were handled.<br />

A Collaboration of iweyou production for Goosebumps Branding
'Playford FC' (138.com, Compositing)I worked on the 'crossbar challenge' segment in this online episode of Playford FC. It was decided before the shoot that the footballers would not be capable of hitting the crossbar, so I was tasked with adding in digital footballs for each shot to make it look like they are!
eBay Fashion Online Commercial (Compositing)I was commissioned to create some 'floating screens' to be positioned behind the presenter, reinforcing visually the information she is talking about. I took some screen shots of the eBay fashion website and created a scrolling composition in After Effects. These were then integrated to the original plates and positioned in the relevant spaces with a glow effect applied.
'The Humpersnatch Case' (Visual Effects, Compositing and Title Design)A short film noir spoof by Fizz and Ginger Films. In this project I designed the visual effects elements, including creating a 2D exterior hotel scene from still images and designed the opening title sequence.<br />
