Magnetic Wood Box Made on Desktop iQ CNCFor this project we decided to make a beautifully simple, small magnetic box. This wood box was cut out of a block of Walnut with plenty of grain and style for the final half-tone look. It is held together by 4 neodymium magnets placed at two corners of the box to keep a strong and snug seal. In this project we cnc milled an improvised dice tower out of some leftover walnut. The original design we had for the dice tower involved making the body out of a solid piece of wood with one side-wall to glue on. Since the wood we used was so thin, it was necessary to cnc cut it in halves to achieve a good thickness. Hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
