Duo uses the power and speed of air pressure to activate your towed vehicle brake pedal while creating vacuum for the power brake system. Duo requires BOTH deceleration AND coach brake lights to apply the towed vehicle brakes. Equal-i-zer Hitch - How To Install the Frame Brackets on a Bottom Mount Coupler or Inverted Coupler http://www.equalizerhitch.com/
This particular trailer has an inverted coupler, with inverted couplers you want to do a little different install when setting up the Equal-i-zer bracket system. Standard Equal-i-zer bracket systems have the two bolts up higher on the A-frame. With an inverted coupler what you want to do is you want to flip the bracket upside down putting the double studded bolts lower to the bottom of the A-frame. This drops the L bracket lower underneath the A-frame of the trailer providing parallel arms for your
Equal-i-zer when you're using a Bottom Mount style coupler. This is a quick little change. Make sure with the change that you are using the appropriate holes so there is no gap for the bolts top and bottom of the A-frame. It should set up just as easy as any other Equal-i-zer.

Proper Lubrication
1. Remove tension from the spring arms by lifting them off the L-brackets.
2. Swing the spring arms sockets until the spring arms are perpendicular to the tow vehicle.
3. Remove the spring arms from the hitch head sockets.
4. Using a high-quality cloth rag, wipe clean the friction surface areas of the sockets, top and bottom.
5. Using Equal-i-zer High-Performance Lubricant (or a quality bearing grease), place a pinhead-sized drop onto the top of the socket.
6. DO NOT use a degreaser such as WD-40 on the hitch sockets.
7. Spread the lubricant with your finger or rag until it covers the entire surface.
8. Repeat this for the underside of the socket.
9. Insert the spring arms into the socket and rotate the socket back and forth.
10. DO NOT lubricate the L-brackets or spring arms.
11. A well-lubricated hitch head will dramatically reduce the amount of hitch noise while driving.
A common mistake is lubricating the L-brackets where the spring arms rest. The L-brackets rely on friction to create two of the four integrated sway control points. Lubricating the L-brackets reduces friction which in turn lowers the amount of sway control achieved. The better solution for increased longevity, maximum performance, and a quieter ride is the Equal-i-zer Sway Bracket Jacket.

Lippert - How To Replace a Solera Power Awning Motor V1This video shows how to perform a power awning motor replacement on a Solera RV power awning by Lippert. It walks through the entire removal and installation process, including extending the awning arms out for clearance, securing the arms for safety while working, supporting the awning roll tube, removing the necessary hardware to access the motor, removing the power cable and roll assembly connection and removing the head assembly entirely.
Next, the head assembly must be opened to access the awning motor. Remove the bolts holding the motor in place, and the motor will come free.
Then, the replacement power awning motor can be installed, and the head assembly can be reassembled. The video also walks through how to reassemble all of the components, including the awning arms and roller tube. Remember to save all hardware as you disassemble the awning components. They will be reinstalled.

Lippert - How To Replace the Awning Fabric on a Solera Electric AwningThis video shows how to replace the fabric on your RV power awning. It walks step by step through the process, making it easy to follow along. Having a friend to assist can be helpful!
The steps include extending the awning out 12 inches, securing the awning arms for work, removing the screws, disconnecting the head assembly and roll tube, removing the awning fabric from the channel and removing the old fabric from the roll tube.
Then, it’s time to install the new RV power awning fabric replacement. First, inspect the new fabric on a flat, clear surface to make sure it’s undamaged and positioned correctly. Next, the installation involves feeding the new fabric into the channel on the roller tube, making sure the fabric is centered, reinstalling the poly cord screws, rolling the awning fabric back up on the tube and reattaching the roll tube to the power awning arms.

Lippert - How To Retime a Schwintek Slide-Out When Slide-Out Is Crooked V1This video shows how to re-time your Schwintek RV slide-out system from Lippert™. It covers each step in the process. Completing a re-time on your slide-out is fast and simple, following these easy steps.
You’ll first go to the switch and depress the Out button until the slide-out fully extends. You then depress the In button and bring the slide in 8 to 10 inches. Repeat this process a minimum of three times until the system fully re-times. You’ll know the system has re-timed because both sides will extend or retract at the same time.
The reason we need to run the system in and out three times is to give the system an opportunity to re-sync itself. The Schwintek system has two motors that count revolutions. This is what keeps the system in sync, or parallel. When the system is not fully extended or fully retracted each and every time, the controller loses its zero point. When we run the system in and out three times, it allows that controller to find the zero point.
