Trying CARINDERIA For the First Time in the PhilippinesIn this episode, we tried a Filipino carinderia for the very first time! 🇵🇭 A carinderia is a small, family-run eatery found all over the Philippines, serving freshly cooked local dishes at affordable prices—perfect for anyone travelling on a budget.
We stumbled upon a random carinderia and were welcomed by a variety of home-cooked Filipino food. While pork dishes dominated the menu, we went for vegetable and fish-based meals instead. Some of the highlights included fish steak, sinigang na isda (sour fish soup), and a delicious coconut jackfruit dish, along with other vegetable options we could not quite name—but all packed with flavour!

After more than three decades of unapologetic excess, the Caten brothers' Dsquared2 show still knows how to make an entrance—this time with an electrifying celebration of glam rock, camp, and wild fashion moments. Naomi Campbell strutted down the runway with Tina Turner-inspired flair, while models channeled Cher, Kiss, and a procession of downtown party icons. The night also included vintage cars and a cast of characters from rhinestone cowboys to gym bunnies.
American rapper Doechii set the tone, stepping out of an armored vehicle in a Dsquared2 camping ensemble, complete with vertiginous heels and a cash-filled backpack. The show felt less like a runway and more like a riotous parade of Studio 54 glamour and biker babe chic.
At its core, the collection showcased Dsquared2 staples: low-slung jeans, Canadian tuxedos, and sexy party dresses, alongside collaborations with Vaquera, Magliano, and Bettter. The Caten twins also paid tribute to their muse, Canadian photographer Julie Enfield, with a poignant letter before the show.
The night ended in true Dsquared2 fashion: with Dan and Dean Caten being dragged out of an NYPD patrol car by Brigitte Nielsen, as she theatrically declared them “Guilty of fierce fashions
