2009 has been an exciting year for Dutch producer Jeff Sutorius. Not only did he start the Aropa label at Armada Music and release mega hit 'Man On The Run', he also spend his time working on a first artist album. Now, with barely a pause for breath, PvD is lining up its second incredible single. Underlining the album's style range, 'Eternity' has a palpably different tone and feel to 'Verano'.
Adam Young is the crazily talented singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist mastermind behind smash act Owl City. With a significant thread of electronica to his music, he has readily engaged with the EDM-verse from the outset of his career. When Young reached out to suggest a studio collaboration for van Dyk's new album, he found that the wires of communication were already plenty warm! Paul had been an admirer of the young Minnesotan's music since Adam's garage band/MySpace days and had become a huge fan of his breakthrough international hit 'Fireflies'.
The collaboration quickly came into being, with Adam taking care of the singing/and lyrical component, while Paul handled the composition and production side. The result is the sky-scraping 'Eternity', which coalesces their elements into a hooky-as-hell unapologetically cheerful, limitlessly uplifting vocal trancer. Across its Original and Alternative mixes, the track is a radio-gift, smash-in-the-making. PvD's Club Mix meanwhile does just what it says on the tin, underpinning the track's infectious hook lines and vocals with a classically-cut driving, floor-seeking van Dyk bassline.

One of the many colourful highlights of Paul van Dyk's much appraised 'EVOLUTION' album, is the happy-go-lucky tune of 'Eternity'. In collaboration with the crazy talented singer/songwriter Adam Young, van Dyk gave sound to feel-good. And it sure did. Reflecting upon a successful year, Paul now invited no less than 9 producers of the full EDM spectrum, providing new interpretations of the masterpiece that is 'Eternity'!
A permanent fixture in the sets of the German pioneer, 'Eternity' always unlocks a vibrant wave in the crowd it meets. 9 months after it first hit in, 9 producers have their way with it. Being one of the frontrunners of an open mind-set, Paul van Dyk gave carte blanche to the talents he invited to remix. And the results are smashing. For the trance junkies amongst us, there's the remix of UK producer Gary Proud, shooting straight to uplifting heights, or the synth-driven monster provided by Johan Malmgren. VANDIT protégé Guiseppe Ottaviani loads 'Eternity' with one big chunk of trance energy, whereas Paul van Dyk himself interacts with the playful, chunky sound of Alex M.O.R.P.H. on their collaborative remix.
Undoubtedly the hottest Swedish duo of the moment, Qulinez beat 'Eternity' with an absolute festival-fit prog-house interpretation. Solid, deep prog-house with a dark touch can be found on the Riley & Durrant remix, and Austin Leeds explains the meaning of proper big-room. For the peak-time hours, the Siege remix of 'Eternity' lights up the room with full-on electro-house.
Last but definitely not least, this package includes the brilliant breaks and dubstep sound of Brian Brainstorm & Psylocyber, giving 'Eternity' its final kick towards longevity.

Lighting the souls of those who seek musical bliss has ever been the mission of German DJ/producer Paul van Dyk. And so he does, through another stunning piece of his 'Evolution' album. Featuring the warming voice of Plumb, he presents 'I Don't Deserve You'.
With a relentless drive and passion for EDM, Paul van Dyk withstands the test of time, time and again. His latest longplayer, 'Evolution', has been 5 years in the waiting and 10 months in the making, but is nothing short of timeless anthems. One of them, is the up-beat ballad of 'I Don't Deserve You'. On this touching, piano-drive tune, Paul invited the vocal talent of US singer Tiffany Lee, better known as Plumb. Its striking lyrics, tender vocals and warm strings make this a real keeper.
With Paul being a great proponent of diversity, it's no surprise that the package of 'I Don't Deserve You' brings no less than 5 different remixing, highlighting some of the biggest producer talents in EDM. For the trancy addicts out there, there's the remix of VANDIT protégée Giuseppe Ottaviani, while the Jerome Isma-Ae remix suits those into his proggy deep sound. Maor Levi & Bluestone power things up with a big-room translation of 'I Don't Deserve You', while the Lucky Charmes & Tony Verdult remix walks the fine line of house and electro. The Seven Lions remix completes this pack, bringing out a prog-breaks mix of outstanding quality.
