I saw this film on Vimeo one day. I was so impressed by the film, that I contacted Vanessa and offered to write original music for it. Originally there was a simple percussive loop, but based on the subject matter and style of animation, I thought an upbeat jazzy score would be best suited. This was the result.
Silent planetThis is a short clip form a film that I working on. The film had very little dialogue (more or less a silent film) which made the score all the more critical. Atmosphere was the number one priority over melody and harmony.
With a name like "Silent Planet" it was imperative that the music (in most places) be whisper quiet, however the audio is boosted here for demonstration purposes.
Audi QuattroThe good people at riotanimation.com were working on a ad for an Audi Quattro concept car. I wrote some music.
Being John (Ending)This is the end music I wrote for a really good short film I scored called Being John. It's a story about a lonely guy who is mistaken for another man who had touched a lot of people's lives. The music is a slightly corny but fits really well with the fun, uplifting, and touching vibe of the film.
