- The Milky Way itself travels through space at appr. 600 km/s
- The image used for texturing the Milky Way is NOT a picture of the Milky Way. There are no pictures of the outside of the Milky Way.
- There could either be a black hole or a central sun in the center of the Milky Way. I went with the texture image and made it shine.
- A complete revolution around the galaxy takes 226 million years
- Do not confuse the Galactic Plane with the Galactic Equator: the Sun never "crosses" the Galactic Equator because the Sun is always on the Galactic Equator, by definition.
Precession cycle
- One precession cycle takes 25,920 years
- Since one revolution takes 226 mln years, this would mean that there are appr. 8692 precessional cycles in one revolution. In this animation there are only 60.
Scale & distance
- the Sun is 109 times bigger than the Earth. If this animation was to scale, the planets would be invisible.
- Our Solar System should be a gazillion times smaller compared to the Milky Way. If this animation was to scale, you could not see the Solar System, the Sun or any of the planets.

In the interview, Michael Roll talks about the important work of the chemist Sir William Crookes, who, working with a materialisation medium, proved in repeated scientific experiments under laboratory conditions that we all survive the death of our physical bodies. The results of these experiments were published in 1874 in the Quarterly Journal of Science. Michael tells that the physicist Sir Oliver Lodge, in his 1933 lecture The Mode of Future Existence, proposed a cosmological location for the so-called spiritual part of the universe.

Adding more details according to questions I've been recieving:
It was shot in my homemade "studio" that I made in a cabinet, back of the cabinet was coverd with black cloth, the flower was placed in the middle, and the whole cabinet was then covered with another cloth to insulate from the daylight (to keep the light constant, which is the most important). Two lights were used to illuminate the flowers.
Some flowers bloomed in hours, some in few days.. therefore the interval between photos varies from few seconds to several minutes depending on the type of flower (after several missed tries you'll learn ;)
In order to keep ISO as low as possible (couldn't go lower than 640 because of low light), the shutter speed was usually 1/5 s at f16.
All flowers are mine or from my mother's garden :)
