Coffee Art | Minnesota State FairCoffee Artists™ Angel Sarkela-Saur & Andrew Saur have been invited to demonstrate their Coffee Art® at the Minnesota State Fair. It was part of the University of Minnesota and they were on stage for two hours, working on a coffee painting and answering questions from curious onlookers.
It was quite a success as hundreds of people witnessed the creation of the first Coffee Art® in Minnesota State Fair history!
The concept of this painting is the mascot, Champ the Bulldog, holding a piece of food in the shape of UMD on a stick. As everyone knows, you can get anything imaginable on a stick to eat at the Minnesota State Fair.

Coffee Art | Exhibition in NYCThe Coffee Artists™ are pleased to present to you their latest Coffee Art® achievement. It is a long story, but here are the highlights. Last summer, they were approached by a public relations firm whose clients were interested in their Coffee Art®. These two clients happen to be Starbucks and Hershey's. The two companies were planning on producing a line of chocolates, truffles and other fine tasting morsels and they were looking for a unique and exciting way to launch their product. This short film shows the creation of these paintings for this exibition in NYC.
Coffee Art | Mike Rowe PortraitWe are huge fans of "Dirty Jobs with Mike Rowe" and we always watch the show. Mike is very entertaining and we are excited what new dirty job he will encounter next. Since he has entertained us for so many years, we would like to show our appreciation returning the favor. We have created a portrait of Mike using our medium, coffee. Yes, it can be dirty at times, but that is what makes it fun. Our inspiration was from a segment during episode "Brown Plate Special." We noticed the crew wearing their bathrobes and sipping coffee. Mike was especially enjoying his cup o'joe in his lovely bathrobe.

He created a documentary on the Coffee Artists™, Angel Sarkela-Saur and Andrew Saur and their Coffee Art®. They were creating coffee paintings for another documentary he was making. He was filming Finnish American musicians and for each new segment, he wanted to lead with one of their paintings. It is an innovative incorporation of their Coffee Art® into Erkki's film work.
