The students created their own business called Sugar Scottie Treats, a unique model that offers a convenient party-catering service at Sageland Elementary and won the tri-state Biz Kid$ Entrepreneur Competition.
This goes to show that you are never too young to set a foundation for financial literacy and entrepreneurship. We want to make sure every kid is better prepared for the road ahead and ready to explore their dreams.

Providing Housing and Healthcare to FarmworkersAfter noticing farmworkers living under bridges, Angel Calderon created a center to provide housing and food for these individuals. He also teamed up OLE Health to provide on-site health care, ensuring equitable access to a host of critical social services that benefits the entire community.
Bringing Quality Health Care to the HomelessFor a variety of reasons, homeless individuals do not visit health clinics to seek care. To bridge that gap, the staff at OLE health visit local shelters to meet these individuals where they are.
