The Grand Cenote is well known for the upstream decorated cave passages like the Paso de Lagarto and the Cuznha Loop, but the downstream section has a completely different vibe. It is dark, silty very decorated but with stalactites that look like cement, very weird and ominous atmosphere as if it was a totally different cave system. There are numerous restrictions the further in you get some requiring sidemount.

Features cave diving action from Pet Cemetary to the legendary Blue Abyss, a dive deep into Cenote Sac Be Ha, claustrophobic sidemount action at Palomita of system Xunaan Ha, off the beaten path south of Tulum we dive into the insane looking phreatic tunnels of Cenote Regina, currently officially closed to diving we managed to film an afternoon dive deep into the bonafide regional classic Vaca Ha, being an outsider I was allowed to film a secret cave somewhere south of Tulum, but I was blindfolded so as not to know were it is but got it all on tape, arguably the most beautiful cave in the yucatan, secret spot Cave X.

The Ocean Is Our Playground: Cave DivingFilmed on the beautiful North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. When the summer is here and the ocean on the North Shore is calm, we play in the underwater caves. For the shots when we are running, we would carry rocks that were heavy enough to keep our body weight on the ocean floor. Only our lungs were used to capture the shots; no scuba gear.
