Carrier of DreamsEver since he was young, wish kid Peter has dreamed of being a naval aviator. An avid student and athlete, this sixteen-year-old’s ambitions came to a halt after a debilitating seizure episode and subsequent cancer diagnosis that left him facing a long and difficult treatment plan. With the support of his family, Peter bravely faced chemotherapy, radiation and prolonged hospital stays. Through it all, Peter never let go of passion and reverence for the military. When Peter learned that he would receive a wish from Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic, he and his family knew exactly what would lift his spirits and bring him the hope to continue battling. Peter wished to go out on an active aircraft carrier. This is his story.
Special thank you to the US Navy*, the service men and women at Norfolk Naval Station and the crew of the USS Harry S. Truman for assisting in granting Peter’s wish and for selflessly going above-and-beyond to help bring Peter’s dream back to life.
In Oklahoma City, a small group of friends came together in an effort to help their community by spontaneously paying strangers grocery bills in an effort to inspire others to do the same. This random act of kindness was spurred on by an effort to "Pay it forward."
In an effort to promote more of these generous acts, Cricket Wireless initiated a campaign to spotlight individuals like this. Green Buzz Agency was brought on board by Cricket Wireless and Upworthy to create a short, sharable, mini-documentary about this group of friends and the great work they are doing in their community.
To maintain the documentary approach to this video, Green Buzz Agency was tasked with capturing these interactions with a handful of hidden cameras. With help from the grocery store, the onsite team found strategic locations around the cash registers to place the cameras to capture authentic reactions to these acts of kindness.

In this United States alone, there is a shockingly large number of kids who do not possess the confidence or know-how to participate in the kitchen. In this mini-doc we meet an 11 year old boy named Evan who breaks the mold with help from the Quaker Oats sponsored program, Common Threads. The program teaches kids about different cultures and healthy eating while seamlessly helping them learn skills and techniques to grow their confidence in the kitchen.
