wingsuit formation Luigi, Tim and Jeb The fist two people to touch each other doing wing-suit canopy relative work were Jari Kuosma and Vladi Pesa back in 2002. Then in 2004 Luigi Cani and I did it when he was doing his world record 39 canopy landings :) At the time I was using the skyflyer 3. The first time a true dock was taken was when Loïc Jean-Albert came to film Luigi and me on one of our jumps. I fell out of the formation and Loic just slipped right in and grabbed Luigi's foot and held it for pretty much as long as he wanted too :) I was super impressed with Loic's skill. He was a true artist in the sky.

This is footage from 2009 when Luigi, Tim Rigby and I did a 3 way formation for ESPN's E:60. We were using stealth wing-suits and Luigi was landing the worlds smallest canopy at the time a 37 square footer. Super fun project and we were doing it before people had made up a name for it :) Now people are doing it on base jumps. Amazing how technology and skill levels just keep getting better and better :)

Jeb Corliss and Luigi Cani - Balls Pyramid A few years back a fan posted a picture of Balls Pyramid on my FB page and asked if it could be jumped. When I saw the picture I couldn't believe the place was real. I thought it had been photoshopped. I then started doing a little research on google and found out the place was very real and next to an amazing island called Lord Howe. I sent the picture to my very good friend Luigi Cani and asked him if he thought this would make a good location for a project. He said absolutely and he started putting everything together to go there and fly wing-suits next to this amazing and beautiful location. It may be the single most beautiful place I have ever been. It really did feel like an alien landscape from another planet.

Base Jumping Waterfall accident - Jeb Corliss This was my first real hard hit in base jumping. This is Howick Falls in the KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. It is 364ft high. This jump was early in my base jumping career and probably ended up saving my life in the long run. I was young and just charging hard. I thought I was invincible and I needed a slight readjustment of the way I was thinking.
A Year in the Life I decided to upload this in higher quality :)

This is my Year in the Life demo I made back in 2003. It shows footage from that year traveling around the world base jumping. I jumped in 16 countries on 5 continents and traveled for over 8 months that year. The only footage in the edit that wasn't from that year was my accident in South Africa. That happened in 1999. I used it because I went to South Africa and didn't get any good footage :) So I decided to use the waterfall footage instead :)

Jeb Corliss - Bull Sharks - Fiji All footage shot with the GoPro Hero 3+ Black edition in 2.7k. Some of the shots in this video were taken using the new GoPro Red filters. Video lights used were Sola 4000 from light and motion. All shark footage was shot between 90 and 60ft in dark murky conditions.

You will see my hand bleeding in one shot. This happened on the first day of diving and was the result of a moray eel bite. You actually see footage of the little bugger that bit me. Bleeding on a shark dive is never fun but sometimes you just have to do what you have to do :)

Jeb Corliss first jump back Guess who's back, back again, Jeb is back, tell a friend :)

Yesterday, after blowing my left ACL for a second time 10 months ago I finally got to jump again. I had to get another full ACL reconstruction of my left knee using the patellar tendon from my right knee. The rehab was long and hard this time and I had a set back where I hurt my calf during rehab that made everything take even longer. But now I am finally strong enough to go back to something that has had a truly powerful impact on my existence.

The video is a bit long but I decided to just show a jump from beginning to end with the actual audio from the jump using a new audio communications device allowing me to communicate with my good friend Jhonathan Florez as we fly. The audio is raw and unedited up to landing. People have been asking me for something like this for years so I decided to finally do it for my return.

There was a short time I truly thought I wasn't going to come back this time. The psychological trauma from getting really hurt, spending two years recovering to then blow an ACL a second time on a routine skydiving landing was almost too much...

Yesterday made me very happy. NEVER GIVE UP, EVER...
