After running on over 300 festivals BOB finally reached Vimeo with his little running wheel. We would like to thank everyone who enjoyed the film, voted for us on festivals and gave us a laugh during the screenings. It's an incredible feeling to make people happy.
This was the first time we created an 3d animated movie during our studies at the Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg and we would have never thought that it became that successful.
There are a lot of things we would have done differently nowadays but for a small team, six months and almost no knowledge of the software, we are proud with the result and finally want to share it with everyone.

This is a visually stunning short is a story about a young and innocent flower that is taken under the leave of an older and wiser flower, but are her motives pure? Starring the voices of Woopie Goldberg and Christie Scott Cashman, it is an inspiring piece created Core.
"Descendants" is a 14 minute animated short about the wish of attaining the unattainable and about the fact that something good can evolve from something evil.
The two main characters are flowers (voiced by Whoopi Goldberg and Christy Scott Cashman) who grow on the edge of a clearing next to one another.
One is old and jaded by a mysterious history - the other one still young, vivid and curious. Destiny has brought these two together and it seems as if they would exist without possibility for change, until one day a visitor to the clearing brings something unexpected to their lives.
This short film started as a diploma project by Heiko van der Scherm and Holger Schoenberger at the Institute of Animation (part of the Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg).

Madame Tutli-PutliCourt métrage d'animation dans lequel Madame Tutli-Putli monte à bord d'un train de nuit, traînant avec elle tous ses biens. Voyageant en solitaire, elle partage sa cabine avec des étrangers d'apparence tantôt bienveillante, tantôt menaçante. Quand tombe la nuit, elle se retrouve au cœur d'une angoissante aventure métaphysique, où la réalité se confond avec le rêve. Thriller jungien? Suspense hitchcockien? Tour de force artistique? Montez à bord, le train de nuit vous attend...

This Way UpLaying the dead to rest has never been so much trouble.
This Oscar Nominated short is directed by Smith & Foulkes and written by Foulkes, Smith, and Christopher O’Reilly, and produced at Nexus by Charlotte Bavasso and Christopher O’Reilly, the film follows two dour unfortunates as they battle a series of misadventures while trying to deliver a coffin to the graveyard.
The animated caper is a series of emotional and literal pitfalls for the pall-bearing team, as their journey and relationship unravel on an epic scale culminating in the pair joining the old lady in a trip through the underworld.
‘This Way Up’, was nominated for an Oscar® for best animated short at the 81st annual Academy Awards.
Before its Oscar win, “This Way Up” won numerous awards at film festivals around the world, including an Official Selection at the Sundance Film Festival, the Public Prize for Best Short Film at the 2008 Ottawa Animation Festival, the Audience Award for Animated Short at both the Palm Springs International Film Festival, and the Mundos Digitales in Spain.

For people who don't understand:
The punchline is "Il est beau Coco" .. which would translate to "That's a pretty bird". It is said in a way though that mimics the old lady at the beginning. This "clever" parrot is doing what he does best, repeating :).

Ce court métrage réalisé à l'occasion de mon certificat de 3ieme année met en scène deux perroquets aux caractéristiques opposées (Un idiot et un dédaigneux) confrontés à la fois à la mort de leur maîtresse mais aussi à l'incendie de l'appartement dans lequel se passe l'histoire.
Le scénario a été inspiré d'une blague absurde.
L'élaboration du projet s'est fait en famille dans la bonne humeur.
La production a duré 7 mois.
J'ai tenu à faire la production seul de A à Z car je voulais me tester sur tous les domaines et voir si j'étais capable de rendre un projet fini avec un rendu "professionnel" en temps et en heure sans compter sur personne mais dieu que cette phrase est longue et chiante !!!
LE SINGE DE PIERRE, de Yumeng ZHOU et Huanyu ZHANGYumeng ZHOU et Huanyu ZHANG ont réalisé ce court métrage d'animation qui leur a valu d’obtenir leur diplôme CREAPOLE de Cinéma d'Animation et Jeu vidéo (Prépa + 4 ans). La chaîne de télévision chinoise, TOONMAX TV, leur a commandé une saison de 30 épisodes, qui sera supervisée par Huanyu ZHANG.
