Nick Hyne, Nick Brown and Mahi Mains delve deep into the Southern Alps before being escorted to Cecil Peak by Helicopter to enjoy a banquet of June powder..then heli in a spa to finish things off. Can you think of a better way to spend the start of winter!? New Zealand has had unprecedented start to winter and it is set to only get better!

LOW TIDE With low tide conditions in the Australian Alps for the start of the 2015 winter, we were forced to abandon our regular protocol of riding strictly powder and headed to Perisher resort to slash our way around the man-made patch of snow that the resort had kindly created.
Although the resort was crowded, over-priced, and lacking in natural snow, this was over shadowed by sunshine, good vibes and the amazing job by the Perisher Park crew who built a fun set-up with limited resources.

If there is one thing we can conclude from our trip to the dark side, it is our boards not only turn in the deep stuff, but are super fun to ride when conditions get firm.

Yougofirst: Planet Dachstein Dachstein Gletscher has been our favourite spot for summer snowboarding for so many years now. There’s something magical about this place that makes you want to go back there every summer for few runs and meeting up with old friends. Although we all live a bit different lives now and cannot afford to stay above the clouds for few weeks like before, we simply had to make a short snowboarding trip to our favourite planet and enliven some of the best snowboarding experiences we had there over the years. This time, we finally took our time to enjoy different Dachstein views and mountain scenery, which left us speechless although we had a feeling that we saw all this for many times already. And there lies the beauty of the summer snowboarding on Dachstein Gletsher – each time it looks the same, but its so much different.
