The as i am is more of a clairifying cowash. I do not recommend leaving this product in your hair because it can dry our hair out.
The shea moisture is more of a deep conditioning cleanser. It does a great job with moisturizing your hair and it maintains a healthy scalp. :)

I know castor oil is in the As I Am...but I feel that it is okay for CG method, there has been some debates regarding this, but I have not noticed any buildup. By the way, some Deva products contain castor oil... ;) So if you're worried, I think it will be okay to use it. Just my two cents.

Flexirod Set on Natural HairHi Guys!
Today I will be showing you how I achieve a flexirod set on natural hair. This is my very first flexirod set.
I only used one product to achieve this look.
Product used:
Camille Rose Naturals Curlaide Moisture Butter.
The product is available at Target or Target online
I used about 29 flexirods
I applied the product to damp hair. I cowashed and deep conditioned my hair prior to styling it.
I allowed my hair to air dry overnight..you can sit under your hooded dryer if you have one to speed up the drying process.
I will sleep on my satin pillowcase to preserve this set and of course pull my hair into a high ponytail (pineapple).
I did not use oil to separate the curls. The Curlaide provided enough oil and moisture.
That is it!

How to get Faux Dreadlocks Tutorial - AdannaDavidWant to get those beautiful dreadlocks without locking your natural hair? Then this tutorial is for you! I share all that you need for this protective style in this video. Its really easy!!
For every section of hair, I used 4 strands. 2 for the braid and 2 for the wrap. I used 8 packs of the Sensationnel Soft N Silky Afro Natural Colour 1 (jet black) NOT 1B. The link just shows you what the pack looks like but please order the color of your choice.
You can use less or more, it all depends on how big or small your sections are
More tips:
- You don't have to braid the hair first, you can also 2 strand twist before you wrap.
- To make it even less heavy, you can use 1 single strand of the Afro braiding hair rather than 2 as I've used in the tutorial.
- To make it cheaper, you can use regular braiding hair for the braids/twist instead of the Afro braiding hair. But use the Afro braiding hair for the wrap

Natural Hair: Paul Mitchell The Conditioner and Eco Styler (Blue)PLEASE READ (your question may be answered)
This video is demonstrating how I apply Paul Mitchell "The Conditioner" and Eco Styler (Blue) to short natural hair. I have cowashed her hair with Tresemme Naturals and applied Paul Mitchell to damp hair. Then I applied the Eco Blue (with a hold of 5) to her curls. Paul Mitchell is a moisturizing leave in. Eco Blue is for color treated hair and is a level 5. I did not use any styling tools to style her hair. At the end of this video her hair is about 85% dry, we just allowed it to air dry. You can purchase Paul Mitchell at any hair salon or beauty supply store that carries Paul Mitchell products. Eco styler gels can be purchased at Sally Beauty supply or your local beauty supply.
Here nighttime routine: She sleeps in her satin bonnet and in the morning she refreshes her curls with water (plain water). She just sprays her hair with water, allow it to sit and shake head. This allows the product to reactivate.
